I'm really sorry to hear of the issues that you're having with your Tivo picture. How are things looking at the moment for you?
If you're still having issues, please could you answer the questions asked by @japitts, this will help us to determine the issue and also, please could you check that the coax cables are connected securely to the Virgin Media equipment, any splitters (standard and powered) and to the wall socket.
