TiVo box is making annoying buzzing noise

I had my TiVo box replaced a couple of weeks ago due to constant pixelation and imagine problems.  The new box has rectified that issue, but now the box is making a high pitched buzzing noise every time I use the fast forward, rewind or pause function.  Any ideas how to stop this or is it another faulty box?

Thanks for getting in touch, I'm sorry that your TiVo box is making a buzzing noise, that does sound strange.

Could you please check the following things for me?

• Make sure that your box is in a well-ventilated area, away from anything that may be causing it to oveheat.
• Make sure that there is nothing blocking or obstructing the vent on the box.
• Reboot your box.

If the buzzing noise continues after these steps, we can take a look at arranging a box swap for you. Please let me know how you get on.
