Same happened to me yesterday morning. No picture, no audio.
When I went into home menu, which seemed O.K., the audio came back but no picture. Came out of the menu, changed channels and the audio disappeared again and still no picture. Changed HDMI cable, rebooted, still nothing.
I checked my V+ box and it was working.
I rang VM and an engineer was booked as no faults could be found.
The picture and audio returned to normal a couple of hours later and is still good at the moment so I have cancelled the engineer.
I'm having the same problem - black screen, no audio, but I can see all the menus fine. Restarting the box does nothing, either a physical reset by disconnecting the power, or done through the menus on the box itself.
For those having the same issue, can you post which manufacturer made your box and post this detail as well, please? Mine was made by Cisco, and a friend had the same issues with a Cisco box, but not with a Samsung box.
I had the same issue less than a month ago, and after waiting a week for a technician, because "the fault cannot be fixed outside your home", it was fixed the day before the technician was due to arrive.
I move my virgin box in my living. I've re connected all cables and was working fine then the image went black but still able to access the guide. I've check all cables are connected correctly and tried 3 different brand new hdmi cables and still get the same results. I have rebooted multiple time but no change. I also run a diagnostic online but everything appears to. E working ok. Can you run another check your end please?
Having the same issues, no video, intermittent audio at times. I can browse the menus and channel lists but can't view anything. I have checked al of the cables are plugged in correctly and still can't figure it out.
