Re: TIVO TV CHANNELS BREAKING UP - PLEASE HELP???

Hi stevemorgan,

Thanks for posting!

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your V6 box.

I've run diagnostics on your equipment and one of your V6 box hard drives is running too hot. This is likely causing the pixelation and will need to be fixed by a technician.

I've sent you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) so I can arrange an appointment.

Speak soon

Josh

Re: TIVO TV CHANNELS BREAKING UP - PLEASE HELP???

Hi,

I think my box is doing this to? It's done it for a while but it isn't too all bad and only on the black areas or edging and so I've just ignored it. But it's now getting more and more of an issue and sometimes it's so bad I can't actually see what's happening on the screen.

When an engineer came out a long time ago for a fault with a wire he had a quick look and said it was my TV usb port however, I have changed it over to a different one still happens. And I've tried other things in the ports like Amazon fire stick and they work fine.

Is there anything that can be done? As it is really annoying now.

Kind regards,

Kyla

HD movie breaking up! Please help!!!

I’ve had this issue in the past but thought I would try again. Just rented an HD movie on virgin, I have a V6 box and it keeps breaking up. Really poor picture and sound throughout! £4.99 completely wasted. AGAIN!!!

any ideas how I might get this fixed???

Re: HD movie breaking up! Please help!!!

Hi Julescc123,

Sorry to hear this.

Is this just happening with rented movies or is it affecting channels as well?

Thanks

Re: HD movie breaking up! Please help!!!

Hi. It seems mostly with movies. I don’t specifically watch too many HD channels.

Re: HD movie breaking up! Please help!!!

How is the V6 connected to the internet? Is this through WiFi or is it plugged directly into the router?

Thanks

I see. That's not good. Has this happened before with a rented film with the V6?

Can you try restarting the Hub & V6 to see if this helps?

Re: HD movie breaking up! Please help!!!

Yes it’s happened a few times. I’ve restarted the box and hub several times between this happening and it’s still happening. Paying for HD movie and not even getting SD quality.
