Subtitles on BBC flashing 888 up in the corner

Recently the Subtitles on BBC are flashing 888 up in the corner at regular intervals when the subtitles are on. Any clue why this is happening and how to stop it?

Do you have another Tivo/V6 in the home that is showing the same thing? 

Also, can you clarify if this is happening on live TV, catch up or both?

Still happening here on all bbc programmes live or recorded on tivio

Seem to be going round in circles with Moderator questions. It's a known issue which Virgin are able to replicate and the root cause is known. Just awaiting a fix 😉

Errm sorry to resurect this issue but it is still going on! .......... is this going to be a continuing fixture for us using subtitles on BBC it is only BBC where the issue is.
