Stuck box

Could you please help with this problem. I reset the TiVo box yesterday now its stuck on deleting everything sit tight, this could take up to an hour. It's been 24 hrs and no joy. I've searched the forum and the internet with no success

Hi try turning it off again and see if that solves the problem, if not phone and go down the Tv faults route they can check while you are on the line and if necessary arrange for an engineer to come to you and replace the box.Regards Micky

I’m stuck like you too mate, I’ve tried waiting/turning it off and on, also took all cables out and left it for a few hours. Nothing works, I wanted it reset it as I’m sick of my TiVo box recording any old crap. 

So if you get any answers let me know.

After phoning them twice they sent an engineer out who changed the bax saying it had a fatal crash.  They upgraded me to a V6 box so all is good again.

The new box is like going from dial up to 200mg in one day, wow it’s so fast compared to my old TiVo box. It makes me wonder how many TiVo users are oblivious at (a) how dated the TiVo box is and (b) how fast the new V6 box is 🙈🙈

The V6 is better and finally a menu that doesn't lag all the time. What I like about it is the ability to stream from V6 box to V6 box

 My Tvio Box has been sitting on "deleting everything" since i came home from work this morning, called virginmedia and told me to restart the box by turning it off and on and but the same message came back.  1 hour later and still saying the same thing.  Smiley Mad
