Slow TiVo and On Demand not working

My TiVo box is ridiculously slow and you are left with black screens while you wait for a channel to change or even going to the home screen also I keep getting On Demand is Unavailable with error 319 why am I paying so much money for a crap services? And top it off in have just received a letter to say my bill is going up by £3.49 a month?? NOT HAPPY!!

totally agree. To leave us with these slow Tivo boxes while charging us MORE, is a disgrace!

Get that new box out with weeks Virgin or I'm sure lots of us will be leaving to a better service.

I am sorry that the services haven't bee the best recently, I would like to ask if there's still an issue with the TiVo as upon recent tests I'm able to see that the TiVo is running well, which is a good sign.

 

I would like to ask if the link here can be of help with the slowness?

 

Also with regards to the 319 issue, we're aware of this and are working hard to upload all the right content soon.

Yes the box is still very slow or it freezes and goes to a black screen

I would like to ask if this black screen comes directly after there is some freezing on the channels?

 

Also can you tell me if this happening on all or particular channels?

It main happens when we click on the Home button and choose a channel (any channel) and it's always very slow when whire on the Home screen scrolling down on to the other options and can take up to 30sec to move down the list after we have pressed the button on the controller

Thank you for keeping in touch, this issue your describing sounds like something that we're already working on.

 

The slowness on TiVo's is a fault we're already aware of and working with our teams and engineers to resolve. I know that this isn't the answer you're looking for right now, however we are making progress to getting to a resolution. Whilst I have no date as such to inform you of, I can say that we are working hard to bring this back to normal speed soon.

This 319 issue keeps coming up each time I try and watch on demand.

Hello,

Same issue here! The on demand service freezes often while we watch a program. Today I wanted to watch on demand program on sky living but I get 319 error message and it is unavailable. This new box is so much slower then what the old one used to be ... so annoying
