Set top box update

My set top box has been going from starting up to installing software from Friday evening.

Hi I am assuming that you have tried turning it off and on again if that doesn't work phone and go down the Tv faults route they can then arrange for an engineer to come to you and replace the box.Regards Micky

Yep I did after a full day of it. Even though it says not to. 

I'll wait on a reply here as I'm in work and even at home we don't have a landline phone set.

Spent half-hour on phone with fault line getting nowhere. That cost me the £7 I had left on my phone. Was told they would call me back in 15 mins. That was 3 hours ago.

Wouldn't be an issue if they just believe your not a fool and have tried turning it off and on again.

I’ve been a customer of virgin for nearly 20 years from back in the ntl days ive never received such bad customer service.

Just to make sure, you are calling VM using their 0345 4541111 landline number aren't you? I'm sure you are, but with Google offering expensive 084/087 call-through numbers, stranger things have happened...

And of course they're is the free option of 150 from any Virgin landline or Mobile.

Yes called that number was just on the phone that long it wasted all my money on mobile credit.

the fact that they said they would ring my mobile back in 15 mins and have made no attempt to contact me since has me furious.
