Second box

I have a V6 box in the living room and have just found our old TiVo box which I'd like to use in the bedroom. Adverts all say about pausing in one room, carry on watching in another. However, the TiVo box is only giving me channels 1-4, rang technical help and they want to charge £65 to activate this box even though it's ours. They say our subscription is for one box - do they now charge for multi room?

Re: Second box

The TiVo is not yours. When you installed the V6, the TiVo was de-activated from your account and remained the property of Virgin Media.

Virgin Media have always charged for MultiRoom. The current charge is an additional £7.50 per month.

As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.

Re: Second box

In addition, you cannot pause TV on one box and watch on the other, that's Sky.

With VM you will need to record the program you are watching then watch that recording on the other box.
