Remove virgin media please

Hello

We've just moved into a new house and want the previous owner's Virgin Media equipment removed please - can you advise how to request this?

Many thanks

Re: Remove virgin media please

the last owners could have returned the TV boxes and hardware. If not they may get charged for it. If they do not send them back just boin them its not your problem they will get charged

As for the cables and boxes on the wall VM will not remove them.

As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.

Re: Remove virgin media please

Hi Daley1,

Thanks for letting us know, if there is a Virgin Media shop near you, you can drop them off there.

Cheers.

Re: Remove virgin media please

Hi Corey

Thank you. I have a problem removing all the parts as the connections are fixed together and I don’t have a spanner that will un-connect them. Can someone pop by and remove?

Dale

Re: Remove virgin media please

The connections are usually only finger-tight. Do you not have a pair of plyers or anything appopriate to remove them? Also if you can identify the equipment, it may be the case that it isn't wanted back. They only re-use the V6 TV set-top box and the Hub 3 cable modem.

This is the V6 box and this is the Hub 3. Bin anything that isn't those items.

Hi @daley1,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you following a busy period.

Have you managed to remove the equipment?
