Red flashing light and solid blue light

My TiVo box has not been working for around 2 weeks 

have a blue solid light and cannot get past th starting up page before it decides to turn itself off 

have switched it off and on checked all wires are in securely even tried and different tv and plug socket number luck 

Any ideas how to fix without costing me a fortune calling virgin from my mobile

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing disruption with your TiVo box. Apologies also for the delay in getting back to you after a busy period.
