Re: Permanently delete series link

I’ve had a similar problem so followed the advice in this thread but unfortunately the series link in question still won’t delete. I’ve restarted my TIVO box and tried deleting the series link again but still no luck and the link remains. Any ideas of how I can delete this series link ?

Have you tried deleting the series link by using the TV Go app?

Click on the the 3 dots of the picture of the series link you want to delete

It should bring up Cancel series recording, Delete all and cancel future recordings.

Firstly it's often better to start a new thread than add to someone elses, I've done if for you 😉

The advice from newapollo would be valid for a 360 box but since you have a TiVo, you'll have to use TV Control. I have a feeling the link won't delete if the box won't do it - but it's definitely worth a try.

If that does fail, can you be specific about the menus you're following to try to delete the link? There's a few ways of navigating the TiVo/V6 ecosystem to achieve this result, and there may be ways that you've not tried.

The obvous way I'd use is to find the offending SL in the "manage my series links" and delete it using the "clear" button - I'm not clear whether you've tried this or not?

I forgot I'm using a 360 so the experience isn't quite the same with the apps 😳
