I have a large detched house and the virgin cables in the street are in the pavement at the front of the house but my living room is at the back of the house,cu currently I am with sky and my router is in the hall, how easy is it to get virgin installed, also don't want wires going through the hall, any suggestions
As long as there is a pavement "tee" on the path outside your property you should be good to go.
Your hub & TV box can be in different places, & the coaxial cable will be split to serve both. Cables can be routed round the outside walls of the house, but not over the roof. The TV box also requires a connection to your hub. This can be by WiFi , but a wired connection is recommended, so powerline connectors are preferrable if you don't want trailing wires. All new telephone connections now use the sockets on the back of the hub.
As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.
