I get an annoying popping/static noise whilst watching Netflix. Like dust on a record player.
I have changed the Dolby setting to PCM. I have selected Original Sound instead of 5:1 yet it still persists. It only happens on Netflix. Makes it almost unwatchable. Any solutions?

Do you currently use a sound system? If so have you tried to see if you get the same sound issues when you use the TV's speakers? You've advised it only happens on Netflix, have you been able to check other apps for the sound quality?
Happens only on Netflix and on both TV and Speaker system, both together and independently
Can you give this a try for us please:
Before you hit "Play" to watch Netflix show, go to "More Info" for that particular show and then:
1. Scroll down to "Audio & Subtitles" and press "Enter" on your remote,
3. Scroll down again to "Audio" and SELECT "ENGLISH (ORIGINAL)"
Already done that. Makes no difference.
Which type of VM box do you have? Are you running the audio connection from the VM box to your audio system?
It is a TiVo box DVR E98B. The sound system goes through TV.
Does the sound have any issues when you play audio through the TV? Do you have the ability to connect your sound system directly to the V6 box?
