Pixilation TIVO box

Our tv is permanently pixelating. The issues began with occasional instances across any channel we were watching. Throughout the month it has got worse so now all we can do is access I Player & NetFlix. Unable to watch any other TV

called Virgin, really unhelpful and hung up on my husband! Very disappointed and obviously very frustrating as we are paying for a service. all we want is a TV service that works and not get hung up on when we call for first time in years. We pay £120 per month for this!

at a loss of what to do other than leave which is shame as been with Virgin over 20yrs. To be fair we are probably paying far over what others are paying as never tried to leave etc

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need an engineer visit, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up. If your TiVo is faulty, it will be replaced with the much newer V6 which needs VM home broadband to run.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.

Hey there @hannahjlewis1, thanks for reaching out to us and a warm welcome to the Virgin Media forums. 👋🏼

I'm sorry to hear about the poor experience you are having with the TV services. 😞
I've had a look on my end and it is showing that the box is not connected, are you able to connect it to the Wi-Fi or hub via ethernet and check that all cables are connected in securely?
If that doesn't work please try another HDMI cable.

Let us know what happens.

Kind regards,
Ilyas.
