Pixelating

Have been experiencing serious pixelating on most channels on the TiVo box. I have rang servicing twice only to be told after my line being tested, that there was nothing could be done about it. " Not our fault" was the only answer I could get. Any ideas of the next move would be appreciated.

Re: Pixelating

Hi Bern1st

Thank you for posting on our community forum pages.

We are sorry to hear that you have been having issues with picture quality and for any difficulties encountered when trying to resolve this.

We understand that this must be frustrating and we'd like to offer as much help as possible on here.

Are the cables, wall sockets and splitter secure and the box well ventilated?

Are you using an HD TV? If so is this using an  HDMI or SCART cable?

Re: Pixelating

Have checked over all cables & sockets etc. but not found anything not secure. I don't have a HD TV, so this doesn't seem to be the problem.

Re: Pixelating

Hi Bern1st,

Do you have other TV sets in the house and are they behaving similarly? Do you have a DVD or any other type of video input and are they exhibiting the same pixelation?

Cheers,

Corey C.

Re: Pixelating

No, my other TV is on a terrestrial aerial so is not affected. It is only the TiVo box which seems to be affected. I'm not using a DVD player so I rule that one out.

Re: Pixelating

Hi Cory, It does seem to be worse on the HD channels although it appears on different channels at different times.

Re: Pixelating

Hi Hi Bern1st,

Thanks for replying, what type of cable connection to the box are you using?  If it isn't an HDTV what type of cable connection are you using?

Cheers,

Corey C.

Re: Pixelating

It is a HDMI lead.

Re: Pixelating

Hi Bern1st,

Have you spoken to the team resolve this? As it may be a cable or fitting that needs to be replaced.

Re: Pixelating

Hi Corey, each time I have called I have had the same answer from an Indian? Operator. That it was not their fault, it was a third party issue.
