Neighbour cable on my land

On Saturday we advised the engineers for our neighbour that we were unhappy with the cable being on our land.  They left but arrived and installed it today.

Obviously I want it removed.

Re: Neighbour cable on my land

Hi ASF14,

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our forums page.

Apologies for any frustration or inconvenience this has caused.

Has this cable been installed as a temporary measure for your neighbour whilst we arrange work to be done on the cable on their property?

If this is the case, the tech would arrange for the work to be done on your neighbours property and then the cable would be connected to their new connection.

Thanks

Re: Neighbour cable on my land

Sadly the previous cable has been inder our hedge for 2 years without our permission.  This time we were able to discuss it with the engineers because we were home.

Hopefully it is temporary as we intend to build a garage in the exact place!!!

Re: Neighbour cable on my land

give them 7 days to remove it and let your neighbour know the same so they can contact VM before the 7 days is up. Then cut it at the point it enters and leaves your land.
