Manage my Tivo on PC

Trying to manage my Tivo and recordings on my PC. The website says ...

Accessing your Planned Recordings

  1. Go to virgintvgo.virginmedia.com using your computer's browser
  2. Select Manage My TiVo
  3. Select My planned recordings
  4. From here you can see your planned recordings
  5. Click a planned recording for the option to change or delete it

I don't see any Manage My Tivo option.

This assumption that everyone wants to do everything through mobile phones really **bleep** me off.

I spend most of my online time on a proper PC. I just don't see the point in removing something that many people used. I mean there surely could have been little difference or little effort expended in supporting it versus supporting the mobile app.

Having had no update on this for eleven days, I just happened to click on the link - http://manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/tivo/ and it worked first time.

No changes at this end, so :-

1) What has VM done to fix this?

2) Why was I not informed that it was fixed?

3) Why is product support driven by customers and not by VM?

IMO we pay enough for this service. Is support not included in the price?

Can others verify that it is fixed for them.

Yes, I see it now but it only seems to let me delete recordings. I cannot add new ones. I used to be able to do this.

The ability to do set recordings from a PC went some time ago I believe - to set recordings remotely onto your TiVo or V6 you'd need to use the Virgin TV Control app:

This is not an answer - When you follow the link on a PC/laptop, you get the message "

This site can’t be reached

manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com took too long to respond."

I followed links from the Virgin media site and followed the instructions :-

Go to virgintvgo.virginmedia.com using your computer's browser
Select Manage My TiVo
Select My planned recordings

There is no option "Manage My TiVo"

Even if you go through "Saved" and hit the link "Manage My Box" as suggested above, it still takes you to http://manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/tivo which doesn't exist.

Come on Virgin Media, get your websites up to date!

It does - I'm connected to it right now!

Although admittedly (and now not being as flippant as my first sentence), it can be a bit flaky and slow to initially connect, and sometimes takes a couple of refreshes, but once it's done that first connection to your home TiVos (V6s in my case) then it works fine and I can move around Planned Recordings, My Shows, etc. quickly.

I have just tried to connect to that link FIFTEEN TIMES since your message and every time it says :-

This site can’t be reached

manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com took too long to respond.
