I have tv channel and phone and have enquired about Mulitroom.i explained to advisor I had a second tivo box and all the cabling just looking for a multiroom subscription but I was advised I would need to buy a new box and have an engineer to install it.pointless when all I need is a second virwing card
If the box was obtained through Virgin and was once active on your account, they should be able to reactivate it. I've had redundant boxes reactivated in the past so I know it is possible. Sounds like the agent may have been being obstructive or isn't aware of the procedure to re-add equipment back on to an account.
