It looks like there is loads of stuff to watch on demand which is 'included in my package' but AFAIK I can only get it if I know what the programme is and then search for it. Does anyone know how to browse what's available? There used to be a function to search channel content (4od eg) but I don't see that option anymore

Follow Home > OnDemand
You can browse by channel, by day, and a few other options.

I don't seem to have that under Search, just Box sets, movies, kids, get moving, Live events etc. Nothing useful basically. Never mind, thanks for reply

You shouldn't be choosing the search option unless you want to search.
Press Home, scroll to OnDemand. You can then browse categories.
"Search" that you're choosing, and "On Demand" that I'm advising, are different menu options.

Yes, I'm following the On Demand route but don't have anything similar to what you are seeing. Just Box sets, movies, live events etc. I might give VM a call 👍

Probably a very painful way of getting the info you want. Especially if you get an offshore agent who's likely not got a V6 in front of them.
What, exactly, are you looking for in the OnDemand menus?

I was looking for 4oD and ITV hub content, having had a look around the options it seems to be under the All Apps section, got to sign in and all that nonsense. Thanks.

Again, marketing confusion.
ITV-Hub no longer exists, and is now the ITV-X branded app. Many ITV programmes are available via VM's OnDemand system under the "ITV CatchUp" banner. This isn't available on TiVo, only on V6.
"4od" is another marketing term. You have the C4-branded app that you appear to have found, also many C4-programmes are available via VM's in-house OnDemand system.
Strictly speaking, the broadcaster's branded apps - hosted by them - are different to OnDemand programmes accessed directly from your TiVo/V6 menu system and played from VM's in-house VoD system.
You will often find OnDemand programmes much easier to play than anything via branded-apps.
