Re: Half screen

I have a TiVo set top box and a Bush television. I couldn't get the TV and set top box to ' synchronize', so still have to use the TV remote for volume ( which isn't an issue).

But I don't know how to make the screen ' normal'.

Re: Half screen

Hi Mickssister,

Sorry to hear that all your channels except for BBC 1 is showing half screen.

Can you tell us what you have tried so far and can you post a photo on the half screen issue?

How is your TiVo box connected to the TV?

Please can give us more information so we can help.

Thanks,

Lisa

Re: Half screen

Hi there,

I've sorted it!

Someone suggested that I look at my TV settings and it's worked.

Thanks for the help

Re: Half screen

I still want to know the quick and easiest way to record a programme and all further episodes. On Sky all I had to do was press 'record' and 'record all further episodes' That doesn't seem possible on my set top box. I don't want 'catch up', just a quick press of a button - what am I doing wrong?

Re: Half screen

It sounds like you're describing the "Series Link" functionality, which incidentally will work for all future series unlike Sky's version (last time I checked, at least)

When you're highlighting a program in the EPG (program guide) and you press "record", the popup will list "Record this episode" and also "Create a series link".

Start off by having a read of https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-record-on-tv-box & https://my.virginmedia.com/your-tv-box/your-recordings.html and see if that helps you set series links.
