i wouldn't hold your breathe on that one. virgin hold neither the rights to game of thrones (sky do in the uk) nor the sky atlantic channel. i don't see sky giving the latter up easily without a big increase in virgin subscription prices. ultimately it has been a big selling point for them.
Except that seasons 1-7 have been available as box sets for some months now, so a deal must have been done. Since season 8 is available for download on Amazon from today, I wondered if Virgin will be offering the same.
No box sets of Game of Thrones have ever been on Virgin have they? Due to it being part of Atlantic any of the series on there have not been made available as far as I have seen. The only way that will change is now the majority of people have no reason to watch Atlantic it may finally come to Virgin.
