Error steaming to phone e=8 v=-1

Hello firstly was at a hotel and got this error when trying to watch a program record of my box on my phone, galaxy s10.

When I got home I tried again when on same network I got the same issue. I can watch live TV fine of  the other app virgin TV go.

I've attach photo of error and app used (:

Firstly can you use recording anywhere like you can use TV go?? Secondly can you help with the error (:

Sorry to see that this has been effecting you.

 

Have you attempted to download the TV Go application to watch live TV? This might be a good alternative.

 

I'm unsure as to why you would be receiving this error message on the TV Control App.

TV go app works perfectly for live TV it's only when I try to watch recording.

Hi xrenxshawx

 

The box would need to be connected via either wifi or ethernet to the hub and the same network as the device.

 

You then need to download the recording to the device at that point before they can watch it outside of your home network
