Error code 401

Hi,

I am halfway through watching a programme on ITV hub through the on demand service and yet again, I get the code 401 telling me that the programme is not available at the moment. The information for the programme tells me it is available to view until 13/01/19.

No matter how many times I reset, restart or update my Virgin box, I cannot finish the episode. 

This happens quite often with the on demand service and it’s very frustrating. 

Anyone got a solution or even a reason why this happens?

I am sorry to hear you're having problems with on Demand. 

 

Can you confirm which set top box you have? How often does this issue happened? If you haven't already you would be best to check all the cables are in secure.

Hi,

I have checked all cables. I have the V6 box. This happens quite often but more regularly in the last few days.  

Also, the green WiFi light on my hub has also started flashing. I have checked all connections in the hub and done a reset but it’s still flashing.
