Error 401

I can’t watch programmes recorded on a different box. I can see the box in the menu list and I can see all the programmes. When I select to watch it says it is not available and give me error 401

Re: Error 401

401 is an insufficient connection to your home network. This is usually due to poor WiFi speeds.

If you are using WiFi to link to your hub it will likely be due to contention issues with neighbours hubs. If you can use 5Ghz WiFi then this is infinitely preferable to 2.4, which while it may be a stronger signal is a far more congested band.

Re: Error 401

thanks for your reply. I will check the network setup. My down stairs box is connected via Ethernet so it must be my upstairs box. I don’t have any issues viewing catch up programmes through?
