TiVo's need to have an Ethernet cable connection to your home-hub for this function to work.
Mobile device streaming also relies on your being on the same home network as the TiVo.

the box doesnt have an ethernet cable attached,however it is now working okay after i hadnt tried it as i was away for a few days. works as it did before. didnt do anything different
