I was without my full tv service for 3 days from when I reported the fault to the engineer coming to repair it. However I have not received any compensation from my bill. Can anyone help? Thanks

You can ask for a refund of your subscription costs. What you will not get is compensation, as TV services are not included in the OFCOM scheme. Unless Broadband &/or Landline phone services were also off for in excess of 48 hours continuously there is no compensation available.
