no space on vm webpage to search web

I have VM as my home page .As of today cannot access any web sites because the space for entering web sites is missing.Where the space was is now blank the only way now is to click onto Bing and do it that way.

Re: no space on vm webpage to search web

Nearly all browsers I used just allow you to type any search arguments into the address bar at the top, it’s the one with the web sites name in it.

Re: no space on vm webpage to search web

The address bar is part of your browser, not a web page.

Virgin Media have removed the search box for Google. All current browsers offer the same function to search the Internet by Google (or other providers) in the browser itself in some form or another.

Re: no space on vm webpage to search web

You don't say what browser you are using.  Certainly if you are using Google Chrome, then when it is in full screen mode then there is no address bar.  In which case try hitting F11.

In some browsers such as Firefox, when they are in full screen mode you can hover the cursor near the top to bring up the address bar.

Tim

Edit - I am surprised to see the search widget removed though.
