I updated via Windows 20H1 Update, and it only took 3 minutes
I thought I'd better check it out, I could find no mention of it in Update History
So tried the various checks with /scannow and Online DISM but they found no errors
Still no mention of it in Update History. So I decided to download the Microsoft Windows 10 media creation tool
Media Creation tool installed and ran it, then installed Windows 10, it took just over half an hour
on my fast PC, but I was pretty sure that I had all the files now, and it now shows
in file History
I would recommend an install with the media creation tool

As mentioned above, I got the cumulative updates as well, taking about an hour and 20 minutes from start to finish. The computer now works how it should, without USB glitches on the mouse and keyboard (these would report as malfunctioning) and I bought a new one from Lidl which is a spare at the moment. At the moment I'm wondering what went right (for a change).
May 25, 2021—KB5003214 (OS Builds 19041.1023, 19042.1023, and 19043.1023) Preview (microsoft.com) (this one takes ages to install, if you have an older machine you should get several cups of coffee/tea and/or food!)

Buffer6
I also run malwarebytes pro alongside defender by unticking register malwarebytes in widows in security settings of malwarebytes.
So I still use defender as my main protection and malwarebytes pro still works.
Not sure if this is as good as replacing defender, but enables me to have the defender scans also.
The recent updates to 21h1 install ok but not mentioned in the update history for some reason.

UPDATE FAILED
KB2267602 VERSION 1.341.29.0 (listed as driver update today - date 4.06.2021
would not install until I ran the windows update troubleshooter which repaired the update files.
The windows update has has now installed and was quick.
I also ran sfc /scannow and nothing found.
My Edge browser also started to mafunction and the extensions not working, took me several attempts to reset edge and then found it needed updating, the updates do not seem to be automatic?
Doing a full custom "C" drive virus scan with my antivirus to be on the safe side.

This one sneaked itself onto my system just now, can't say how long it took (wasn't 6 months). Looks like there could be problems with it on the link below.
Looks like it fixes a lot of security holes:

My updates are now different to what Buffer lists above, and like ALF28 has also stated some don't show up in the list.
I got this one about 2 hours ago and it took about an hour and 20 minutes to install. It installs twice and sticks on 21% installed, then 74% and 89%.
June 21, 2021—KB5003690 (OS Builds 19041.1081, 19042.1081, and 19043.1081) Preview
which brings me up to [Version 10.0.19043.1081].
Browsers may need updating too (particularly Edge, Chrome, Avast or any other Chromium based software) as on this thread:

There's a lot of zero day exploits.
