Tivo remote turns soundbar up but not down.

I have a new TiVo box, with the upgraded(equivelt to latest 2021 box) update, a Logitech soundbar on both optical and aux from a Phillips 4K tv. I followed the step by step guide, cycling through different codes to link the remote to the soundbar, every single one will turn the sound up, but none will turn the sound down. Am I doing something wrong ?? Is there a trick I’m missing ??

You say that you have your soundbar connected to the TV via Optical 'and' Aux ...

Maybe pick one or the other as a check, to see if the two are conflicting?

Try optical only first, then if you have no luck, try the other option?

Which box do you have? TiVo, V6 or 360? This statement could potentially mean any of them!!
