What a rip off. Just seen my bill jump up to over £190 a month for a phone we don't want, broadband (we use) and a TV package that is largely rubbish. How easy is it to leave and shop around? I've been a Virgin user for over 15 years, and am afraid to say I'm probably institutionalised!!!!
Call “Retentions” immediately... on 150 or 0345 454 1111 - options 1-1-4-5 "Thinking of leaving" - they are open Monday to Friday, 8am until 9pm. Saturday, 8am until 8pm and Sunday 8am until 6pm [calling early is usually best]) you will usually get a UK call centre who’s staff are informed and helpful. Tell them you are thinking of leaving for Sky/BT because of the ridiculous price you are paying. They will immediately offer you a package that is more suitable for your needs at a more reasonable price - in lieu of you starting a new 12mo contract. Haggle hard and play the "loyal customer" card.
