I would like to move the tv to the other side of the room due to bad lighting is there a cable/lead I can get to make the leads longer to reach the white box on the wall? I do have a wire going around the room that’s not plugged into anything that looks a bit like the ones that get plugged into the white box on the wall if that’s any help?

There are two reasons you should not modify Virgin's cabling:

1) The white cable is specialised triple screened cable that is designed to keep out confilcting signals used by broadcast TV/Radio & mobile phones.

2) Altering the cable length unbalances the signal levels, which may require opening the street cabinet to make the required adjustments.

Virgin charges a non fault callout fee of £25 to make any changes to cabling.
