Hub connecting to a Cisco mac address

Please can someone confirm why my hub is trying to connect to a MAC address which is Cisco when I search the vendor list.

critical on network log appears many times a day 


No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC=ac:f8xxxxxxxxxdf;CMTS-MAC=28xxxxxxc:ef;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;

The hub is working on wireless nothing connected j to apart from tv box via Ethernet

The cable modem has sent 16 Ranging Request messages without receiving a Ranging Response message in reply from the CMTS.  The mac address is most likely relating to the Cisco CMTS its ranging with in the local headend
