Can receive and not send iCloud desktop emails - help! “Client Host Rejected- Access Denied” - ? Help!

Getting Client host rejected Access denied when trying to send mail from iCloud on Desktop -no problem at all using my phone or web browsers. Please can someone suggest what I need to do? Thanks!!!

Hello

When you say on a desktop what email client are you using ?

Have you checked that the server details are correct ?

Hi thanks Nr DJ Shadow -  for getting back to me. What I mean is/ my Apple Mac mini is logged into ICloud. I can do everything.... apart from send mail - Client Host Rejected:Access Denied - I’ve added pix - do I have to manually set this up? It works ok receiving?

Hello

Been looking around to find you a fix for this, and after much searching the error you are getting will need to be looked at by Apple Support as it is due to a problem on either the MAC or on Apples server.
