tv control android app buffering when playing recorded content

Good day all....

When using the TV control app to play recorded content from my tv6 box, playback keeps buffering which makes the playback unwatchable. I have run the bandwidth test option in the app and it recommended using the high resolution although I am using medium in the hope that this would help. I have also reset the tv6 box but to no avail. This functionality used to work fine in the previous version of the app. Any ideas/pointers would be appreciated.

Does your V6 box connect to your Hub3 via ethernet cable or via WiFi?

WiFi. The V6 box is saying that signal strength is good. The broadband test option in the TV control app is returning a value of 2.20 Mbps.

Interesting, I have just run the test on my TV Control app and it returns the exact same 2.2Mbps.

My V6 connects to the Hub via powerline and ethernet.

I will leave it to others more knowledgeable in this area to comment further.

HIandrewmi1, thanks for the message and sorry to hear that you are having issues with this. Does this happen with multiple devices and does uninstalling and reinstalling make any difference. ^Chris.
