re-installation of Windows 10 = laptop device not recognised

Hello, I've just re-installed windows 10 on my laptop and then downloaded the Virgin TV Go app for windows, but now my laptop is not recognised as the original device and i don't have the ability to change until the end of the month. Can it be reset somehow so that my laptop can be re-registered ?

Thanks

Hi Ben_N

Thanks for your reply, im still in the same boat. Its as if the Virgin App thinks its a different computer altogether.

Do you know if my devices can be reset from Virgin's side ?

Thanks

Re: re-installation of Windows 10 = laptop device not recognised

Hi Scotty,

unfortunately with some changes to the software on your device it can cause it to register as a new device due to the changes made, this unfortunately is by design on the app.

Is the date of the next refresh right on the last day of the month for you?

Thanks,

Tom_S

With Windows 10 updates being pushed out on a fairly regular basis, often making changes to installed software and apps, is this not a poorly thought out design?

Is the date of the next refresh right on the last day of the month for you?

Thanks,
