It’s now November 2018 and the iOS app *still* takes 40 secs to ‘connect’ on launch. When are Virgin going to sort this out? Currently the app. is unusable. Even if the app is running, if the iOS device is ‘asleep’ (screen off) it goes through the connection process again on wake, taking another 40 secs.
It is a good app but it is no use whatsoever until this issue is sorted out.
What a disappointing and unacceptable response to your customers! If you are not aware of what may be causing the delay, can you please make a point of finding out? This has gone on for months now, with an ever-increasing number of customers complaining via this forum about an issue that arose as a result of a Virgin software update.
