It’s nothing to do with WiFi. This slow connection was a direct result of RC20 firmware on V6. There must have been some change to how the Virgin TV Control app interacts with the V6 during the connection process.
So, interestingly, I just accessed the TV Control app about an hour ago to set up a series link and it loaded quite quickly this time. I just loaded it again 2 minutes ago to check and still loaded speedily! I accessed via 4G out of the house. So, not sure if I was just lucky or if they've tinkered with something in the background.

There is a lot of back ground work going on in the background to improve things so I've passed your feedback over to the teams however a delay wouldn't really make it a priority. They would be working on issues that are not working beforehand.
Once we have any news of a fix we'll let you know.
