Virgin media tv control app

The TV remote app isn't the best... most of my recorded shows aren't available to download so I can only watch when I'm at home connected to my hub 3. This makes no sense as I may as watch it on my TV.. The only benefit really is I can set a show to record when I'm out and about, personally not that useful.  Also I used to have sky with the sky go app which was brilliant. However,  the virgin go app is no comparison. I don't see the point.

In relation to the download programs, do you get any error messages? Some recordings are not able to be downloaded but this is due to the broadcaster. Best,
