Hi again @judy6
If you’ve got the Virgin Media Maxit or Full House TV package, you can line up and download the latest episodes of selected TV programmes to take with you wherever you go.
Virgin Media Maxit or Full House TV customers can download movies to watch on the move. And, if you’re a Sky Cinema subscriber, you can watch even more movies as they play on TV, along with on-demand streaming and downloads for over 1,000 titles.
The app also lets you set and manage your Virgin TV V6 or TiVo box, browse the TV guide or change channel from anywhere in the world, with WiFi, 3G or 4G.
Providing your Virgin TV V6 or TiVo box is turned on, then open the app to manage recordings, watch your recorded programmes and more.
You can also use the tablet (or phone) as a remote control, and switch channels and set recordings.

Hi @judy6, thanks for your post although I'm sorry to hear you're unable to log into T|V Go.
Can you advise what messages you're receiving when unsuccessfully logging in please, is it saying your password is incorrect or is there another problem?
Many thanks

Hi
I can now log into it but I am a bit disappointed with it because when I go to the 'saved' and it says 'manage your recordings on TIVO or V6' the page is unavailable on the laptop and the android tablet but it's only available on the mobile phone. when I open it on the phne all I can do with it is delete recorded programmes. Are there any other facilities that one can benefit from?

For Android devices, you should use the TV Control app for full management of a TiVo or V6 box
As you've discovered the web page version is limited.

I tried to download Virgin TV Control but it says that my device is not compatible with this version. Could anyone tell me which version is compatible and what functions can this app do? I have a Galaxy tablet S2. It's a bit old but I don't mind getting a more recent model if it works better. I need to know what kind of management this app can do. Can I actually watch my recordings remotely on holidays?

Hi @judy6
To download and use TV Control you need at least Andoid 7.1
Which model number of the S2 tablet do you have? eg SM-T713, SM-T813
To find your model number and CSC code go to Settings → About Phone → Software Information
You might need the firmware updating, which if there is one available you can find at the following site

The S2 unfortunately only goes up to Android 7.0, not 7.1 according to GSM Arena - https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_tab_s2_8_0-7439.php

Thanks for the info. But I also need to know what actions I can do with the control app. So far i only have a remote access to my V6 box from my phone and it can only delete unwanted recorded programmes. It's not worthwhile buying a new tablet for this action alone. Can I actually watch recorded programmes on the go? Can I record new programmes on the go?
