Tv Go - maximum number of devices reached

I have been using TV Go on my PC for a while now without any problem - I only use it on my PC, so no other devices are registered. Last week I got the message that the maximum number of devices had been reached and I was not allowed to view. 

When I checked, there were 5 devices logged, but they were all the same, i.e. my PC - the same device five times!

Why is this and how do I fix it?

The usual cause is if you regularly clear browser cache and cookies.  Protect the relevant VM TVGo cookies from deletion and you should find the problem goes away.

Can you confirm if you have accessed this on different web browsers?

 

Also do you often clear your cookies and cache/history?

Hi Martin,

I only use one browser - Google Chrome, and only access through one device, my desktop PC.

I don't clear caches or cookies very often, but did do a clean up a week or so ago, the issue has only arisen since then.  

Tv Go was showing 5 devices - all with the same name (my PC name). I tried replacing one of these but that didn't work. It is now telling me I am locked out until the end of September!
