TV Go registered devices

Hi -

I have received this message when trying to watch TV on my PC:

"You have registered the maximum number of devices on your account and used all device changes this month.  You can use one of your already registered devices or register a new device again on 1.03.18"

I don't understand this as I only have this PC and one other device registered.

Please can you help?

I have the same issue. Trying to watch on my laptop and I have to replace one of my registered devices. My laptop is listed as one of these devices!

Hi davidrupp,

Welcome to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with TV Go.

I can reset you registered devices if you'd like to change a device?

Re: TV Go registered devices

Thanks Josh - can you tell me how I can see which devices are registered as I can't seem to find where that is. I found it once but now can't remember where it was! I also believe it referred to devices by reference to web browser - one was Microsoft Edge the other Internet Explorer 11 which means nothing to me as it doesn't actually identify a physical device.
Thanks
David

Re: TV Go registered devices

Hi David,

No problem!

Go to the TV Go website, sign in and click on settings cog at the far right of the screen (under the search bar). Once in Settings click on My Devices. This will show you your currently registered devices.

When you register a device on a PC, the 'device' will be the browser you used to register, not the machine. If you try to use a different browser after that it will ask you to register again so it's best to stick with one web browser.

Thanks Josh.

So I'm using the Windows 10 TVGo app which I've downloaded from the Windows store not a web browser(?) If you reset my devices can you tell me how I will know which one is my Windows app in future please just in case I need to change it in the future.

Thanks

Re: TV Go registered devices

Hi David,

Sorry about that, I didn't realise you were using the app.

When I reset your devices your device list will be cleared and ready for new registrations. Once I've done this you can re-register your PC and check the device list on the TV Go website. That will let you know what the device has been registered as.

You can even re-name the device by clicking on the little pen symbol to the right of the listed device.

Hi davidrupp,

No problem.

I've popped you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) so I can grab some details.
