Hi - I have just upgraded to V360 with the upgrade being done through our Tivo box. I can use the Virgin TV Go app but if I go onto Live TV > Guide, I can only set a reminder and not record anything. I saw somwhere, I think, that to be able to record, I have to use the TV Control App - however, that no longer recognizes my TV box. I have tried to rescan, reset, have deleted the app and gone back in but it won't find the virgin box. Am I right in thinking that to set a future programme to record through the app, it's the TV control one I need? If so, how can I fix it please.

I’ve tried to reproduce but can’t. I get the option to record.
From the previous screenshot, it’s clear the reason that record is not given is ‘channel rights restrictions’. The question then is why the OP’s configuration is causing this.

I missed that in the screenshot.
It does seem odd as BBC1 HD is available on all packages and I was able to set up the same recording via TVGO on my android device.
@Midge1064 Does the same channel rights restrictions error as shown in the screenshot appear on all your attempted recordings?
Please can you try setting up a different recording.

Are you using a VPN? Either a downloaded VPN app or one that's included in web browsers such as the one that is usually downloaded with Avast?

Hi - we have two TiVo boxes but since we moved in here a year ago, although the second box is connected, it isn’t connected to a tv yet. On the main box, I can do everything else and could record on the control app
