Sky sports channels not highlighted

I’ve been having serious issues with Virgin re new contract, which we thought resolved today, however on putting Sky Sports on tonight , Channels 501 - 508 are showing as grey ( not highlighted) & not accessible, however Channels 509, which are the same programs are highlighted. Can anyone advise , I’ve spent last 45 mins on to Virgin with no help

You need to pay an additional fee to get Sky Sports in HD in addition to the SD channels. HD channels are listed first on the TiVo and V6 boxes.

Your contract should list if you have the Sky Sports HD add on.

Sorry to hear of any confusion around your package.  As BenMcr has advised, the HD content of Sky Sports is a further 'add on'.  Are you advising that this is supposed to be a part of your package?  If so, please do get back to us.
