Sky Sports app on Chromebook.

I have been using the Sky Sports app on my Chromebook faultlessly for the last 18 months, mainly to watch live streaming.

Today it has stopped allowing me to watch live streaming and a message appears saying that my device is not supported.

Why the change?

Hi Gregywils.

Thanks for your post 🙂
Sorry to hear this, does this work on other devices?

What device is it you are having the issues with?

Can you attach the screenshot of the error you are getting?

My Chromebook stopped working this morning, Android tablet still works.

Can you please pop a picture of the error you are receiving on the specific device?

Thanks

Zoie

I have had 18 months of faultless live tv with the Sky Sports app and this happened this morning.

I tried using Sky Sports in a browser and that had a similar message.

Hi @gregywils,

Thank you for providing that for us.

Have you checked to see if your device is compatible along with the current software that it's running? We list compatibility here.

If it's compatible, can you try removing and then re-installing the app?

Thanks,

As mentioned at least twice in my earlier posts, it has worked faultlessly for 18 months. This morning I have the message that it is not compatible.

Why is it not compatible today by perfect for the previous 18 months?

I have signed out the in to the app.

I have uninstalled then reinstalled the app.
