For about the past week, I have been unable to watch live channels using the Sky Sports app.
I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app on both ipad and iphone. After logging in with my Virginmedia UK details I still get the following message:
Video Unavailable
A problem was encountered, please try again later.
I see others have the exact same problem, both on this forum and on social media posts.

Are you viewing on iOS or Android?
And are you loading the Sky app directly, or using the shortcut from within TV Go? I'm unsure if it would make any difference, but is something to rule out.

I have an ipad and and iphone so I'm viewing on iOS.
The problem remains whether using iOS14 or iOS15.
I'm using the Sky Sports App directly.

Having seen a number of other posts on this forum with the same issue, I've seen one user resolve the problem by disabling VPN.
On digging into General settings on iOS I've been able to avoid VPN remaining permanently on.
This has resolved my Sky Sports app live channels issue.
