Sky Sports App - not loading just black screen

Hi There,

I am trying to watch Sky Sports on the App on my Windows PC. Everytime I load it the app loads and just reterns a black screen. The app then crashes/disapears after 5-10 seconds. I have tried the following with no success:

Re starting computer

Re installing the app (after a full unistall)

Turning off all firewalls

And multiple options of the above!

Any advice/suggestions would be much appriciated!

Can you confirm if you've tested signing in on a different browser?

 

Are you able to use the app on other devices fine?

Hi Alex,

thanks for the reply. Yes I have done the following:

tried to use internet explorer instead of chrome. No luck

my brother has a Mac. He can watch it on his mac in our house (so I’ve ruled out the internet router causing problems)

ive uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times so not sure what to do next. 


ive also made sure my windows PC is fully updated to the latest software  it’s a brand new computer but it’s previously worked totally fine with no issues  

id appreciate any advice.

I have exactly the same problem. Can someone please assist? I can open Virgin TV Go and watch BT sport but when I select Sky Sports and install their app its runs, produces a blank screen and drops out. I've tried numerous installs, browsers etc with no luck.

Yes I have the same problem, have had for weeks now. Please help.
