Hello, I’ve recently got a new iPad and which was working fine to watch my shows on the device, however i noticed that when trying to do so now it says unable to watch as ‘out of home’....? Clearly not?
The iPad is on the home WiFi network and this is also the same network my phone’s on and strangely can watch my shows on that device but not my iPad.....?
What I am doing wrong our watch has changed...?

The same thing is happening to me. Worked fine in iPhone and iPad previously but now getting “unable to watch” out of home streaming is not permitted. I am connected to the same WiFi

Rebooting the TiVo and then logging out and back into the app worked for me

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing the same issue, how very strange.
Can you please confirm the model of both the iPhone and iPad for me and what IOS they're both on currently? I just want to firstly make sure that they're still compatible with the TV Control app.
