just changed to windows 10 laptop
Virgin media seems OK after registering new laptop
No sky device slots listed so cant register new laptop
Can log into sky but device registration process does not kick in
Can anyone from the support team help?

When somebody from VM checks the forum for issues they look at the older posts first, by bumping your post to the top of the list you're delaying a reply.
Also, this looks like it's an issue with Sky rather than Virgin, have you posted on the official Sky forum for help?
Had a support agent logged on for over an hour this morning but no resolution

Spoke to sky, their response was:-
Some VirginMedia customers need to have the device slots reset via VirginMedia in order to watch through this player.Please check the settings for your device using the url below, if this does not resolve your issue then you would need to request that VirginMedia reset your device slots.https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-cinema-and-sky-sports-with-virgin-media#This has resolved this issue for other customers.
Checked the settings suggested by Sky but cant find anything out of order
Spoke to VM support again yesterday nothing new to offer other than check with Dell re configuration/drivers
Spoken to Dell today
Tried some different drivers but no difference they are checking to see if other dell customers have had the same problem

I've had a look into this for you and I'm only able to see one device currently connected via this service. There is, however, a change available for you to register another device.
If the singular device registered is the equipment that you're having trouble with, I recommend resetting your service by clearing the devices registered via Virgin TV Anywhere.

The device registered (W10 using IE) is working fine for both sky and vm
Its a new dell laptop (W10 using IE) that wont register as a sky device but registers fine for vm

What happens when you try to register this via the Dell laptop? Do you receive an error message?
No error mesage
I get the sky menu system in the silverlight frame but no video stream presumably as the device has not registered
Been onto dell over the last few days (and in the last hour) they suggested some updated drivers but has not made any difference
Think it is something in the registering process
