Error Code VG-4227858839

I have been unable to use the app 99% of the time on any device for over 3 months now.  I have called support twice and both times been informed that the issue will be resolved within a week.

I'm at  the point now where a refund for the faulty service isn't going to be good enough, Virgin, there are clearly multiple customers suffering from this problem.

1) Either fix it soon and at the minimum offer a refund for the months it has not been working or

2) If you can no longer offer Sky on the go, simply remove it from the service and give us a refund and a discount on future packages, either option to me is fine.

I got it working.

You have got to go to user/appdata/roaming/sky/skysports/redist then run CiscoVideoGuard.exe.

It seems like the sky install app doesn't install ciscovideoguard which is needed.

Hey, thanks for the input, I've done that, do you need to restart the machine?  I've restarted the app, but still have the same issue.

The only other thing I did was to change the properties of Sky Sports.exe to administrator privileges and that was after getting the error code cg-4227858839

I have the same VG-4227858839 error code, and the Cisco videoguard does appear to be running ok. I have tried these and other fixes and nothing works. Clearly there is a major issue with this app now, as it worked before. It is high time Virgin Media esculated this issue to Sky for an immediate fix as they are both getting well paid for a lousy service.

Sadly, nothing is working. Why are Virgin remaining so quiet on this???

Thank God! I thought I was alone on this item. I actually am starting to think it's a secret that Virgin are trying to cover up so they don't have to give refunds to paying members.

You will get nothing from Virgin Media, as they will just say Sky Go and TV Anywhere are free extra services, although like you, it is something I have been depending on, in my case to follow live football. 

It seemed to take a lifetime for VM to update their Anywhere App, which was atrocious, and we have this issue with Sky.

Should I get anywhere with this, I will post an update on this thread and likewise would appreciate if you would be kind enough to do the same.
